Roles & Responsibilities -

  • Design and develop test cases for both frontend and backend components of applications built using Java technologies
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across web applications to ensure end-to-end quality
  • Validate REST APIs, microservices, and backend services using tools like Postman or similar platforms
  • Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and identify edge cases early in the development cycle
  • Work on testing UI components built using modern frameworks like React or Angular to ensure proper behavior and responsiveness
  • Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring proper documentation and follow‑up until resolution
  • Automate test cases wherever possible using tools such as Selenium or similar automation frameworks
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance of web applications through testing
  • Participate in sprint activities including requirement analysis, test planning, and release validation
  • Continuously suggest improvements in testing processes, tools, and quality standards for better product delivery
