XS Telecom is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will support high-profile remediation and hyperscale data center projects by developing metric tools, dashboards, and reporting processes that improve efficiency, performance, and operational visibility.

Working directly with project leadership, this role will analyze project and field data, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and build practical tools that help teams measure performance and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain metric tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to measure project and operational performance.
  • Analyze data related to labor, productivity, project progress, quality, materials, and other key performance indicators.
  • Work directly with project leadership to identify reporting needs and develop tools that address operational challenges.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and performance gaps and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Develop and automate recurring reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Consolidate data from project management, ERP, timekeeping, field reporting, and other systems.
  • Establish consistent metrics and reporting processes across remediation and data center projects.
  • Monitor performance over time and help leadership evaluate the impact of process improvements.
  • Ensure data is accurate, reliable, and presented in a clear and useful format.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting related to project efficiency, productivity, and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable information.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with project and operational leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting construction, electrical, industrial, or data center projects.
  • Experience developing performance metrics, dashboards, or operational reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with project management, ERP, scheduling, timekeeping, or construction management systems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume project environment.

The base hourly range for this role is $50-60/hr. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
