The Shift Supervisor ensures the safety, well-being, and therapeutic support of children in Hope Network Children’s Residential Services. This role provides shift leadership and oversight, ensuring treatment goals, daily care needs, and program expectations are met using a trauma-informed approach. Shift Supervisors model positive relationships, provide supervision and interventions, support permanency and skill development, and mentor Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) while upholding Hope Network and DART standards.

  • Supervise and support staff during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure children’s safety and well-being.
  • Provide floor coverage and direct care as needed.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Support individualized care and treatment goals.

What You Bring

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma + 4 years of childcare institution (CCI)
  • 2 years of college + 3 years of CCI
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of CCI

Required:

  • Must pass Michigan Central Registry Clearance and any applicable out-of-state clearances; required annually.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to pass background checks and fingerprints
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
