Your primary focus will be to provide leak detection and utility locating field services. In addition, you’ll be charged with increasing the GPRS footprint in leak detection in your assigned market.

Provide leak detection and utility locating field services Increase GPRS’s leak detection presence in your assigned markets Build and maintain client relationships through excellent service

 

Job Responsibilities:

Leak Detection:

Seek out client opportunities to increase GPRS’s leak detection presence in assigned markets Create client opportunities for leak detection Perform comprehensive leak detection surveys and emergency leak location services on pressurized water lines Prepare field report of findings including photographs and satellite images Utilization of technologies such as correlators, data loggers and acoustic listening devices to identify and prioritize leak locations

Utility Locating

Locating underground utilities including telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer systems, and other various known/unknown utilities or structures on a variety of project types including municipal, commercial, institutional and residential. Properly marking the location of located utilities making comparison to previous records Preparing a comprehensive field report of findings including photographs and satellite images Utilization of technologies such as GPR, Pipe & Cable Locators, Video Inspection Cameras, GPS & Total Station Become proficient in utilizing industry symbols to denote buried and above ground utilities. Become proficient in utilizing different types of marking devices and understand their proper application. QualificationsQualifications/Minimum Requirements:

Educational background in construction management, surveying technology, engineering or relevant job experience, preferred. Direct experience in Water Leak Locating is preferred; training will be provided to those without this experience. Proven problem-solving skills Demonstrated team player Possess skills in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel Drive and ability to learn how to use GPR and other equipment to complete locating projects – we have the experts and a state-of-the-art facility to teach you, we need to know you want to learn new skills and have the drive for safety and excellence in everything you do Must be physically capable of carrying up to 35 lbs Ability to work a flexible schedule – including overnights and nights/weekends as needed. Able to pass a drug screen and background criteria commensurate with industry standards Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record

Must live within or willing to move within 50 miles of posted city
