Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize self-hosted GitLab CI/CD pipelines for hybrid deployments.
  • Create reusable CI/CD templates for build, test, package, and release workflows.
  • Operate and improve container platforms, including migration from Docker-based environments to Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration automation with Ansible.
  • Strengthen DevSecOps controls in pipelines (SAST/DAST, dependency and license scanning, secrets handling).
  • Manage container image lifecycle and security (Harbor/Trivy preferred).
  • Improve observability, alerting, and reliability across infrastructure and applications (Elastic, Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana).
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, Security, and IT Ops to reduce incidents and improve deployment confidence.
  • Support cost-aware operations across Azure/AWS/GCP (FinOps mindset).

Qualifications

Education, skills, and experience

  • 4+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on GitLab CI/CD experience (self-hosted preferred).
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing Docker containers.
  • Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience (AKS preferred, EKS/GKE welcome).
  • Solid production experience with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong Linux, networking, and container fundamentals.
  • Experience embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
