Role: Logistics Data Analyst Reports to: Senior Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics Status: Full-Time, Regular Division: Enercare Home and Commercial Services Location: Markham (Birchmount) Compensation: $69,136 - $110,618

Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results. About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics, the Logistics Data Analyst plays a critical role in transforming warehouse, distribution, inventory, and service parts data into actionable insights that drive measurable operational improvements.

This role supports Enercare's supply chain strategy by developing dashboards, analyzing operational performance, improving inventory accuracy, and enabling data-driven decision-making across logistics, warehousing, and field service operations. The successful candidate brings strong analytical rigor, curiosity for operational processes, and the ability to convert complex datasets into meaningful recommendations that improve service levels, productivity, inventory management, and customer outcomes.

Accountabilities

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational dashboards and performance reporting related to inventory accuracy, replenishment effectiveness, Parts on Truck (POT%), technician productivity, and other key logistics KPIs.
  • Transform large and complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations for operational leaders and stakeholders.

Inventory Accuracy & Control

  • Redesign and manage ABC, control-group, and random cycle count programs; conduct gap analysis; establish counting frequencies; and recommend SOP improvements to improve inventory accuracy and compliance.
  • Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to inventory variances, stock discrepancies, and transaction integrity.

Warehouse & Distribution Analytics

  • Analyze warehouse and distribution material flow (receiving → put-away → storage → picking → packing → shipping) to identify bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory movement, aged inventory, and replenishment performance and recommend actions to improve service levels and reduce working capital.

Parts & Field Service Analytics

  • Conduct truck stock and service parts analytics, including usage modeling, min/max optimization, seasonality reviews, replenishment cadence evaluation, and standard truck stock recommendations aligned to 80/20 principles.
  • Develop insights and recommendations that improve Parts on Truck (POT%), parts availability, technician productivity, and First-Time-Fix performance.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Support continuous improvement, Lean, and 5S initiatives by translating KPI trends into practical operational improvements, standard work, and visual management solutions.
  • Monitor, validate, and maintain analytical tools, dashboards, and automated reports to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data quality, and eliminate manual processes.

Ad Hoc Analysis & Business Support

  • Deliver high-quality, decision-grade analytics to support operations, procurement, supply planning, and cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify performance gaps and develop actionable solutions.

Operational Flexibility

  • This role will evolve with the needs of the business. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate flexibility and agility by taking on additional duties, special projects, and cross-functional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational objectives, operational priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4-7+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, inventory, or supply chain analytics with a demonstrated history of improving operational KPIs.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, and reporting systems; SAP experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Experience working with SQL, Power Query, or other data analysis and transformation tools is considered an asset.
  • Experience cleaning, transforming, validating, and analyzing large operational datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop structured, pragmatic, and actionable analytical approaches.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations, including inventory control, replenishment, receiving, warehousing, picking, shipping, and supplier performance management.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles, 5S, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
