Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist our Product team in the development and execution of our proprietary Warehouse Management System (Connect). This system is the backbone of our operations and a cornerstone of Lineage’s technology and productivity strategy. In this role, you will help shape the future of Connect, making it the premier WMS for temperature-controlled environments globally.
You will work with a talented product team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive innovation that impacts the entire food supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and functional leaders to understand business requirements, generate functional specifications, and create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
- Analyzes existing business processes, uses cases, and flows of data to define system behavior and interactions from a user perspective.
- Architect and document a functional solution that meets the product requirements including workflows, user interactions, and data flows.
- Collaborate with the UX Design team to create wireframes for proposed solutions and ensure cohesive and scalable product designs.
- Align acceptance criteria with stakeholders and work with the QA Engineering team to generate test cases that confirm the acceptance criteria has been met. • Work with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for the opportunities within your area — including ROI estimates, effort sizing, and risk assessments — to support investment decisions.
- Conduct post-deployment impact analyses to validate projected ROI and identify areas of opportunities.
- Collaborate with Technical Designers to define the technical execution of functional solutions.
- Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders to discuss future initiatives and enhancements to our systems.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, strategy operations, or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working cross-functionally with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Domain experience with warehouse management or similar systems.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools is important.
- Strong relationship-building skills with engineering, design, leadership, and internal & external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and convey concepts & results to a non-technical audience.
- Highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced, highly visible, and changing environment.
- Ability to travel as needed; up to 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in temperature controlled logistics or supply chains.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and analytical tools (SQL, Excel).
- Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
- Experience in Connect Warehouse Management System.
