AI-Native Frontend Engineer (VueJS)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI-Native Frontend Engineer (VueJS) based in Brazil.

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer with strong Vue.js expertise to develop modern, responsive, and scalable web applications. In this role, you will take ownership of frontend development, creating high-quality interfaces and seamless user experiences. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and international teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions. A key part of the position involves integrating AI-powered coding tools into your daily development workflow. You will use technologies such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and code optimization. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive developer who embraces innovation and understands how AI can enhance engineering productivity. You will join a remote, collaborative environment for a focused short-term project with an estimated duration of 4–6 weeks.

Accountabilities:

•

Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive, and scalable frontend applications using Vue.js.

•

Build reusable components and implement clean, efficient, maintainable, and high-quality code.

•

Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences.

•

Leverage AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar solutions as part of everyday coding activities.

•

Use AI tools to accelerate development, troubleshoot technical issues, generate tests, review code, and optimize engineering workflows.

•

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

•

Identify opportunities to improve frontend performance, usability, scalability, and overall development practices.

•

Ensure effective integration between frontend applications and backend services through REST APIs.

Requirements:

•

4+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with strong hands-on expertise in Vue.js.

•

Advanced English proficiency (B2, C1, or C2), with the ability to communicate effectively within international and distributed teams.

•

Practical experience using AI-powered coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent solutions in everyday development workflows.

•

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

•

Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development principles.

•

Familiarity with REST APIs and frontend/backend integrations.

•

Experience building responsive, scalable, and maintainable web applications.

•

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging abilities.

•

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

•

Experience with modern frontend tooling, frameworks, and build systems.

•

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and software quality practices.

•

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.

•

Understanding of UI/UX principles and component-based design systems.

•

Experience integrating AI capabilities into software applications.
