Description

About AOSN

Animal Outpatient Specialty Network (AOSN) is the nation’s first network of specialist-led, outpatient-only veterinary hospitals. We bring together leading board-certified specialists across dermatology, dentistry, ophthalmology, and other specialties, providing the support, infrastructure, and collaborative community they need to practice medicine at the highest level.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, solutions-oriented Project Manager to lead Vetspire implementations and support technology initiatives across our growing network. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex projects, partnering across teams, and helping people successfully adopt new technology.

What You’ll Do

Vetspire Migrations

  • Lead or co-lead Vetspire migrations for new and existing practices, from initial planning through go-live and post-launch support.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, task trackers, and launch-readiness plans.
  • Coordinate data mapping and migration of legacy practice data into Vetspire.
  • Partner with practice leaders and support teams to align workflows with site needs and AOSN standards.
  • Facilitate pre-launch testing and audits and provide remote or on-site go-live support.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the migration process.

Vetspire Strategy & Support

  • Serve as a key resource for Vetspire questions, issues, optimization, and enhancement requests.
  • Troubleshoot configuration issues, workflow gaps, and user issues.
  • Maintain system settings, user accounts, permissions, and configuration updates.
  • Develop training materials, quick-reference guides, and knowledge resources.
  • Monitor platform updates and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.

Integrations & Technology Support

  • Support the configuration, testing, and maintenance of integrations between Vetspire and other platforms.
  • Partner with vendors, Vetspire support, and internal resources to resolve integration and data issues.
  • Provide second-line support for Vetspire and related helpdesk tickets.
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities for system, process, or training improvements.

Cross-Functional Project Support

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, clinical teams, and other stakeholders on technology and operational initiatives.
  • Maintain clear communication throughout all phases of a project.
  • Manage multiple projects, priorities, risks, and dependencies in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position with travel of up to 25% for Vetspire migrations, practice support, company meetings, and other projects. Typical remote working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. based on the employee’s home time zone, unless another arrangement is approved.

AOSN offers:

  • No regularly scheduled weekends
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision plan options
  • Dependent care FSA
  • Short-term disability options
  • Voluntary benefit offerings
  • 401(k) with employer match

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of project management experience with demonstrated success managing software implementations or system migrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Vetspire or a comparable veterinary or healthcare practice management system.
  • Strong understanding of workflows within veterinary, healthcare, or multi-site service environments.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Comfortable partnering with technical and non-technical users at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct Vetspire implementation or administration experience.
  • Experience supporting software integrations or working with technical/API integration teams.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, or Jira Service Management.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Veterinary practice operations or multi-site healthcare/services experience
