Technical Writer

What are my responsibilities?

• Create and maintain customer documentation for Lower Voltage Motor products. The language in which the customer documentation is written is mainly English.

• Research, collect, and evaluation the information such as technical content, target group specifics, legal and/or normative requirements, which are necessary for the customer documentation

研究、收集和评估客户文档所需的技术内容、目标群体细节、法律及 / 或规范要求等信息。

• Clarify technical and formal contents with the specialist departments (for example, development, product management)

与专业部门 (例如研发、产品管理) 明确技术疑问和客户文档正式内容。

• Determine the type and scope of the customer documentation

确定客户文档的类型和涵盖的范围。

• Create, edit or modify customer documentation according to specifications (for example, manuscripts, specifications, images) and by taking into account general guidelines (for example, corporate design, ergonomic, user‑specific, economic, scheduling aspects), also in foreign languages

根据产品技术规范 (例如草稿、需求和设计文档、设计图片) 及通用规范 (例如技术文档写作规范、企业设计要求、用户特定需求) 的要求创建、编辑或修改客户文档。

• Coordinate results with departments (for example, development, quality management, marketing and sales) and ensure timely and quality task delivery

• Implement quality assurance/improvement measures

实施质量保证 / 改进措施。

• Undertake other assignments arranged by line manager according to business needs

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in English or a career changer from a technical profession

本科及以上学历，英语专业或技术专业转行者。

• Excellent English technical writing skills and experience

具备优秀的英文技术文档写作技能和经验。

• Familiar with technical writing process and/or knowledge in motor systems

熟悉技术文档写作流程及 / 或具有电机系统产品知识。

• Strong focus on customer demands, and user and translation‑oriented writing

高度关注客户需求，以用户和翻译为导向的写作。

• Ability to formulate complex issues in a concise and comprehensible way

具备深入浅出描述复杂问题的能力。

• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, good communication skills, and good teamwork spirit

• Good knowledge about graphics creation tools (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and 3D modeling/rendering tools (for example: Rhino, 3D Max) preferred
