Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Testing Engineer with strong experience in software quality assurance and testing to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of applications through functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
  • Perform API and application testing to validate system functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve defects.
  • Execute regression testing after new features, fixes, and releases.
  • Establish and maintain quality gates to ensure software meets defined quality standards before release.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into the development and release process.
  • Monitor test results and provide clear QA status and release-readiness reports.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Experience in test automation and working with automation frameworks.
  • Good understanding of API testing and software testing methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes.
  • Experience implementing or working with quality gates and release criteria.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment in Karachi.

Preferred:

  • Experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
