Title:

Senior Business Process Analyst – Power Platform

Senior Business Process Analyst – Power Platform Job Summary The Senior Business Process Analyst is responsible for administering, governing, and supporting enterprise low-code solutions built on Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online. This role combines platform administration, solution oversight, and business process enablement. This individual is serving as the IT subject matter expert for these tools. The position requires strong technical depth in Power Platform and SharePoint, the ability to evaluate and guide solution design, and experience supporting automation at scale. Experience with Nintex Automation Platform is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Power Platform Administration

  • Administer and support Microsoft Power Platform services including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and related services.
  • Manage Power Platform environments, DLP policies, connectors, gateways, capacity, and licensing alignment.
  • Support intake, review, and lifecycle management of Power Platform solutions from development through production.
  • Troubleshoot platform and solution issues, coordinating with internal support teams and Microsoft as needed.
  • Design, review, or maintain Power Automate workflows and PowerApps applications and integrations where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance on Copilot Studio and Power Platform extensibility as part of enterprise automation strategy.

SharePoint Online Expertise

  • Provide operational support for SharePoint Online, including site structure, permissions, security, and information architecture as needed.
  • Support and review SharePoint-based solutions integrated with Power Platform workflows and applications.
  • Guide best practices for SharePoint lists, libraries, site templates, hub sites, and content organization for better integration with Power Platform
  • Support integrations between SharePoint and external data sources or systems where applicable.

Business Process Automation & Enablement

  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze and improve business processes using low-code automation tools.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable, and governed solutions.
  • Review existing automations and applications for performance, maintainability, and compliance with standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to citizen developers and solution owners.

Nintex (Preferred)

  • Knowledge of Nintex Automation Platform solutions.
  • Design, review, or maintain Nintex workflows, forms, and integrations where appropriate. • Assist with platform coexistence, evaluation, or migration considerations related to Nintex and Power Platform.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Work closely with IT leadership, architects, security, and compliance teams.
  • Participate in governance, planning, and operational review meetings related to automation and business process platforms.
  • Contribute to documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of experience administering or supporting Microsoft Power Platform in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online
  • Experience supporting Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven) and Power Automate solutions.
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management (ALM) for low-code platforms.
  • Understanding of Power Platform licensing and requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Nintex Automation Platform (Cloud or SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with Copilot Studio or AI-assisted automation.
  • Experience in a business process analyst or hybrid IT/business role.
  • Understanding of enterprise governance, compliance, and change management practices.
