The Projects Manager supports ACT by providing Project Management for issues & opportunities that fall outside of the normal scope of Field Service Technicians. This manager utilizes a network of subcontractors and internal resources to help cultivate and execute comprehensive creative & prompt solutions to issues or tasks that arise, acting as the SME on uncommon and complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to Special Projects requests as assigned
  • Manage projects through the project life cycle from initiation to final completion.
  • Provide planning, quotation, budget, schedule, contractor coordination, administration, oversight, and tracking for accepted Special Projects
  • Provide regular updates to Special Project stakeholders including weekly meetings with Field Service Managers and clients
  • Track and document progress in work orders for transparent and effective communication
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage multiple projects with a range of different clients and project sizes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in PV maintenance, project management, or electrical engineering preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, or related fields preferred
  • Electrical Engineering background or technical background preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee subcontractor performance and ensure projects are completed on schedule
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting drawing sets
