Responsibilities
Advanced Sales & Application Specialist – MIR-Raman
- Drive sales and application activities for the MIR-Raman and microscope product portfolio business
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by evaluating potential customers, applications, and market opportunities in Korea.
- Manage the full sales process, from lead generation and opportunity qualification to system configuration, quotation, negotiation, and PO closure.
- Provide application consulting and solution proposals by understanding customer requirements and recommending the right systems and configurations.
- Conduct and support customer demos and feasibility studies, including evaluation and reporting of results.
- Provide customer training and coordinate installation activities with customers, Service, and other relevant teams to ensure timely installation.
- Coordinate NOB execution from PO receipt to installation scheduling, ensuring smooth order processing and fast revenue recognition.
- Support customer events and market development activities, including exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and new application development, while reporting directly to the Country Manager of Korea.
Qualifications
Soft skills, experience and education:
- Ability to work in an analytical environment: being focused, ability to structure complex request scenarios
- Accomplishment of high stress levels
- Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the monthly working time)
- Capability of good people skills to easily connect with people from different markets (QC and academics)
- Competence to efficiently and professionally guide clients through the sales process
- Preferably 8-10 years of sales and application experience in the analytical environment
- Education: bachelor, master or PhD in chemistry, physics, pharmacy or bio-chemistry
- Communication with the HQ in English that requires good written and oral English language skills
- Team leading skills/ personal management experience preferred
- A valid driving license is mandatory
