Job Description: Sales Engineer
Classification: Exempt
Reports To: General Manager
Position Overview
The role of a Sales Representative at Alcrete is to actively engage with customers and prospective customers to develop new business opportunities within the precast concrete industry.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Development of a target customer list.
- Attending industry trade meetings and events.
- Research planned public and private construction projects within target geographic market.
- Travel (within 150-mile radius of Jacksonville) to customer locations to promote Alcrete product.
- Travel (within 150-mile radius of Jacksonville) to customer project sites to monitor Alcrete field performance.
- Solicitation of new project quote opportunities.
- Coordination with Alcrete Engineering Team on the completion of project quotes.
- Follow up with customers on submitted project quotes.

Education and Experience
- Industry experience within construction and/or construction materials.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment of teamwork and constant change.
- Maintain clean, honest, and healthy image with customer contacts.
- Advanced ability to communicate professionally and effectively within all levels of the organization.
