Are you a senior Business Analyst with passion for Credit Risk?

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support APOs in breaking down Program Epics into Features and User Stories.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Perform data analysis and validation using SQL and SAS to support requirements, testing, and incident investigations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities, including quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure that documentation of credit risk models, processes, and system solutions is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Develop, maintain, and support the operation of credit risk models in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain process descriptions, functional documentation, and other governance-related artefacts.
  • Assess the impact of new or changed system functionality on credit risk processes, models, and reporting.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, risk specialists, and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of processes, systems, data quality, and ways of working.

What is needed in this role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A few years of experience as a Business Analyst, or similar role, in the credit risk domain.
  • Knowledge of the Basel framework and the Internal ratings-based (IRB) approach.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and support tests.
  • Strong business support and incident analysis capabilities.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries for data analysis, validation, and root cause investigations.
  • Experience working with data models, data quality assurance, and data-driven decision-making in the credit risk/IRB area.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to work independently in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and collaborate across functions.
  • Proficient in Swedish and English.
  • Experienced in SAS® 9 and/or SAS® Viya platforms.
