Your Role

As an AI Gateway Platform DevOps Engineer with Capgemini, you will contribute to a strategic AI Gateway Platform initiative built on Apigee X. You will industrialize platform delivery and operations through automated pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, and reliability engineering, helping the platform achieve secure and reliable operational readiness.

In this role you will:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for gateway configuration, API proxies, policies, and shared flows across multiple environments.

• Automate platform configuration and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code and version-controlled repositories.

• Implement automated quality, security, and deployment gates.

• Define and improve environment promotion, rollback, and release procedures.

• Implement operational dashboards, alerts, service-health indicators, and monitoring controls.

• Improve release reliability, incident recovery, and routine platform maintenance.

• Support security, compliance, identity and access management, and environment governance.

• Create deployment, recovery, incident, and maintenance runbooks.

• Collaborate with API platform teams, Google support, security stakeholders, and service owners.

• Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions and maintain clear technical handover documentation.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, Terraform, scripting, and cloud technologies.

• Working knowledge of Apigee X or Apigee Edge deployment automation and API platform operations.

• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, IAM, and secure delivery practices.

• Experience building reliable release, rollback, and recovery mechanisms.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a delivery-focused mindset.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment.

• Strong cross-team collaboration and stakeholder-management skills.

• Clear professional English and the ability to produce concise technical documentation.

Nice have

• Google Cloud Platform experience.

• Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native platform experience.

• Experience in enterprise-scale API management environments.

• French language skills.
