Senior Product Manager, Consumer Growth
Location: Irvine, CA (Onsite) Base Salary: $190,000–$230,000 + equity
About Bidbus
Bidbus is building a new way for everyday consumers to sell their cars. Instead of shopping around for offers, sellers enter a 2-hour live auction where licensed dealers compete to offer the best price for their vehicle.
We recently raised our Series A, securing over $18M from leading Silicon Valley VCs. Over the past few months, we’ve grown more than 8x and are rapidly expanding into multiple U.S. markets.
We're investing heavily in product-led growth and targeting a 10x scale-up. To achieve this, we’re building a lean, high-output growth team focused on identifying and scaling the highest-leverage opportunities to increase consumer supply.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Supply Growth.
You’ll own the end-to-end consumer journey, covering acquisition, activation, listing, auction, sale, lifecycle, retention, and reactivation.
This role is not just about optimizing an existing funnel—you'll be expected to identify and tackle major growth constraints, run rapid experiments, and drive bold, high-impact product bets that transform how consumers discover, trust, and sell their vehicles through Bidbus. You'll work closely with the founders on one of the company's most critical metrics: growing the supply of vehicles from individual sellers.
What You’ll Own
- Drive the end-to-end seller growth strategy and roadmap
- Optimize the seller conversion funnel from lead → listing → auction → sale
- Build product-led growth initiatives including referral, retention, reactivation, and viral growth loops
- Develop new acquisition channels and scalable systems to expand individual seller supply
- Identify customer pain points using research, analytics, and experimentation
- Design and execute A/B tests to improve activation, conversion, and retention
- Collaborate with Marketing to improve acquisition quality and CAC efficiency
- Work closely with Design, Engineering, and Operations to ship impactful products quickly
- Lead breakthrough product initiatives that redefine how consumers sell vehicles online
- Set product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Supply Growth
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience
- Required: Experience building or scaling a two-sided marketplace
- Strong experience owning consumer growth metrics and conversion funnels
- Experience leading cross-functional product teams from idea to launch
- Highly analytical; deep understanding of experimentation and data-driven decision making
- High ownership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketplace growth, liquidity, or network effects experience
- Background in consumer internet, marketplace, fintech, mobility, or e-commerce
- Experience building referral systems, PLG or viral growth loops
- Experience launching products from 0→1 and scaling them
- Startup or high-growth company experience
Why Bidbus
- Own one of the company's highest-impact product areas
- Work directly with the founders on strategy
- Build products used by thousands of consumers and dealerships
- Launch ambitious 0→1 product bets with real business impact
- Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and excellent benefits
- Help shape the future of one of the fastest-growing automotive marketplaces in the U.S.
