The role
We are hiring a remote Cybersecurity Analyst covering North America hours. This role supplements our Africa and Dubai teams so Vigilbase can provide stronger follow-the-sun coverage, faster customer response, and better 24/7 operational support.
What you will do
- Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts during North America hours.
- Support customer security operations, escalations, and incident workflows.
- Use Flarehawk and related tools to document investigations, reduce noise, and improve handoffs.
- Coordinate with Africa, Dubai, and Asia coverage teams to maintain continuity.
- Write clear internal and customer-facing notes, summaries, and recommendations.
- Improve playbooks, escalation paths, and shift handoff quality.
What we are looking for
- Experience in SOC, cybersecurity operations, incident response, IT security, or technical support.
- Availability to work North America business hours or agreed shift coverage.
- Strong written communication and disciplined handoff habits.
- Understanding of alerts, logs, endpoint/network/cloud security signals, and investigation workflows.
- Comfort working remotely with a distributed international team.
Nice to have
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, Cloudflare, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, or case management workflows.
- Experience in an MSP, MSSP, SOC, or customer support environment.
- Relevant security certifications or equivalent practical experience.
