Motorola Solutions Cybersecurity Services (MSI) seeks to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for cybersecurity services sales. In this role, you will champion our portfolio of advanced cybersecurity advisory & compliance services nationwide, serving as an essential subject matter expert and trusted partner to our customers. You will operate at the intersection of private enterprises and federal & state government agencies, guiding c-suite and director-level decision-makers toward a proactive safety and security ecosystem. Responsibilities:
- Achieve or exceed assigned vertical sales quota on a consistent, repeatable, and transparent basis
- Target new logos and lead complex sales efforts to deeply penetrate strategic prospect accounts
- Accurately forecast revenue pipelines while maintaining exceptional Salesforce hygiene and regional visibility
- Understand unique client business goals and design modern security solutions that mitigate risk exposure
- Prepare and demonstrate sophisticated product capabilities, illustrating key technical features, benefits, and applicable use cases
- Elevate customer conversations from immediate point-in-time problems to broader strategic discussions
- Possess the ability to source qualified opportunities independently and manage the sales cycle from opportunity identification to closure
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to
- Work side-by-side with delivery teams and external partners as an SME to secure future business and retire collective vertical goals
- Serve as an active conduit between prospects, clients, and internal business units to communicate essential technical enhancements
- Represent the organization with confidence and clear intent at high-profile security conferences, trade shows, and community industry events and on appropriate social media platforms
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of sales, account management, engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, military and/or public safety
- OR 8+ years experience in sales, account management, engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, military and/or public safety
- Possession of globally recognized security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CEH, or Security+ preferred
- Demonstrated sales experience with recognized cybersecurity frameworks like FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and CMMC.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal & state/local procurement processes and strategies
- Experience coordinating and writing responses to solicitations for services
- Previous background collaborating directly with technical deployment engineers or risk management consulting practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively present complex security concepts, financial returns, and risk models to Directors and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs)
- Ability to navigate multivariate, long-cycle enterprise deals using target account selling or formal consultative sales methodologies
- Vertical-Alignment Strategy to operate productively and independently across the United States with a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Location/Travel:
- Preferred candidates will reside in the United States
- Expected to travel within the United States and assigned territory up to 25-50% of the time
Target Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 USD
