Humana is seeking a Lead Product Manager - Provider Direct Connect to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of solutions that enable seamless connectivity between Humana and provider organizations. This role will drive the evolution of provider-facing integration capabilities that improve provider experiences, simplify information exchange, and support scalable growth across the enterprise. The ideal candidate brings experience managing integration-focused products, building strong provider and stakeholder relationships, and driving cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution. This individual will play a key role in advancing Humana's provider connectivity vision through standardization, scalability, and customer-centric product innovation.

The Lead Product Manager is responsible for defining and delivering Provider Direct Connect capabilities that create value for providers and Humana. This role will work closely with provider partners, technology teams, operations, architecture, implementation teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable integration solutions.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Provider Direct Connect capabilities.
  • Develop scalable and standardized integration solutions that support enterprise growth and improve provider engagement.
  • Partner with provider organizations and internal stakeholders to identify business needs, opportunities, and pain points.
  • Build strong relationships with providers, vendors, and cross-functional partners to drive successful product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with technology, architecture, and operational teams to define integration standards and long-term platform capabilities.
  • Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and prioritized investments.
  • Balance short-term delivery objectives with long-term strategic goals and platform evolution.
  • Partner with implementation and customer success teams to support onboarding, adoption, and ongoing provider satisfaction.
  • Establish success metrics and utilize data-driven insights to measure performance and inform product decisions.
  • Communicate roadmap priorities, outcomes, risks, and business value to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance provider experiences and reduce administrative complexity.
  • Ensure solutions are designed with a focus on scalability, standardization, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of Product Management, Healthcare Technology, Provider Solutions, Integration Management, Digital Products, or related experience.
  • Experience developing product strategy, product vision, roadmaps, and executing products from concept through delivery.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives involving business, operations, technology, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions across matrixed organizations.
  • Experience working with integration-based products, platforms, APIs, or digital connectivity solutions.
  • Experience gathering, prioritizing, and translating customer and business needs into actionable product requirements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Experience defining success metrics and leveraging data to drive prioritization and product decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer-focused mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with provider organizations, health systems, physician groups, or provider-facing technology solutions.
  • Experience managing provider integrations, connectivity platforms, interoperability solutions, APIs, or data exchange capabilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and transactions including FHIR, HL7, X12, and API-based integrations.
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining strategic provider and external partner relationships.
  • Experience driving standardization and scalable integration frameworks across multiple products or business domains.
  • Experience partnering with Customer Success, Provider Services, Implementation, or Account Management teams.
  • Experience in healthcare payer operations, provider engagement, interoperability, or digital health ecosystems.
  • MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree.

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.  

$126,300 - $173,700 per year  

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
