At Maytronics, we are seeking a Professional Embedded Linux Tech Lead to guide our team in developing cutting-edge embedded systems. Join us to lead innovative projects and drive technical excellence in the field of embedded Linux systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of embedded Linux developers.
  • Design and implement embedded Linux software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded solutions.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in embedded Linux technologies.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • year of hands-on embedded development experience in C and C++.
  • Proven Fast Learner & Adaptability: Ability to quickly dive into an existing, complex codebase, understand the architecture, and become productive.
  • Development & Integration Capabilities: Practical experience developing and debugging software across MCU environments (STM32, ESP32, Cortex-M / RTOS) and/or Embedded Linux User-Space.
  • Engineering Excellence & Ownership: High standards for code quality, strong sense of ownership, and a track record of delivering reliable software on schedule.
  • Teamwork & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate closely with team members, System Engineering, Hardware, and Integration teams.

Advantages (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS / ROS 2.
  • Practical experience with standard serial protocols and diagnostics tools (CAN bus, UART, SPI, I2C, gdb, Wireshark, candump).
  • Scripting capabilities in Python for internal test automation
