Title: Sr. Product Manager

Location: Remote

Hanwha Vision is seeking a Senior Product Manager (Hardware) to lead product strategy and execution for our B2B surveillance portfolio. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including fellow hardware and software product managers, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Field Engineering, and Technical Support, to drive product success from concept through end of life. You will work daily with our headquarters team in South Korea throughout the development process and product lifecycle. You will also mentor other product managers within the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements and pain points into Market and Product Requirements Documents (MRD/PRD), defining detailed feature sets, use cases, and workflows.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from introduction to end of life, including market and competitive analysis, requirements gathering, and market validation.
  • Conduct product testing and evaluation, and provide detailed feedback to global product management teams.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities for new products and features.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the B2B surveillance market, including pricing, features, value propositions, and use cases.
  • Drive the product development process and partner with Marketing Communications to bring new products and features to market.
  • Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders and ensure it is accurately reflected in feature prioritization.
  • Manage development schedules, identify risks and challenges, and ensure products meet requirements and launch on time.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on our products and their competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • Travel up to 20%, including international travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or a related discipline preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in the B2B electronics industry; security and surveillance experience is preferred.
  • Strong technical background in IP networking, with the ability to stay current on new technologies and industry trends.
  • Hands-on problem solver who generates creative ideas and practical solutions.
  • Comfortable representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to build constructive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers, including in challenging situations.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to drive projects forward independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
