You will architect DevOps and SRE strategies for multiple SaaS products while leading a team of engineers to ensure high availability and performance. You will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment architecture, quality of deliveries, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect all Devops/SRE related areas for three products
  • Be responsible for the deployment Architecture the SaaS platform
  • Identify reliability measures needed to ensure HA of our mission critical deployments throughout various regions
  • Lead the team comprising of highly skills engineers
  • Be very hands on in every aspect
  • Work with Development and solution teams to understand requirements and provide solutions
  • Be responsible for timely deliveries
  • Be responsible for the quality of all SRE deliveries
  • Mentor the team

Person Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or BSc equivalent qualification 
  • 5+ year(s) of experience in DevOps along with software engineering is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in distributed systems is essential
  • Extensive experience in K8S, GCP, Docker, observability tools, middleware, is essential
  • Extensive experience in various devops tools such as helm, ansible is required
  • Extensive experience in Linux system administration tools is required
  • Experience in performance troubleshooting of backend services, data bases, message brokers, load balancers, etc
  • Experience in various monitoring tools such as Prometheus
  • Well experienced in various data bases, Kubernetes, various load balancers, GCP
  • Extensive experience with Linux/Unix system administration
  • Sound knowledge of operating system concepts
  • Very good communication skill in Sinhala/English is essential
  • Experience in managing technical teams
