Job Summary and Description:

The Customer Data Analyst I supports the accuracy, completeness, and appropriate use of customer, contact, company, and related access data across EPRI systems. The role performs assigned data maintenance, access provisioning, request intake, validation, documentation, and customer service activities using established procedures and business rules. The role resolves routine or closely analogous requests and escalates matters that fall outside documented guidance or involve policy, access, contractual, confidentiality, privacy, export-control, or other risk considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Data Maintenance and Request Support

  • Create, update, and maintain customer, contact, company, address, and related business data in ERP, CRM, GTS, and other applicable systems using established procedures.
  • Process assigned provisioning, enrollment, registration, and EPRI.com access requests for customers, employees, contractors, and other eligible users under established guidelines.
  • Review assigned requests for completeness, accuracy, required information, and alignment with documented business rules.
  • Monitor and respond to assigned Customer & Contact Data queue items and document status, corrections, exceptions, and follow-up actions.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and professional service to internal and external customers.

Data Quality, Controls, and Escalation

  • Perform routine data validation, duplicate review, cleanup, reconciliation, and quality checks to support data integrity.
  • Maintain documentation required for operational follow-through and audit support.
  • Apply confidentiality, data-stewardship, access-control, and related requirements when handling customer and business information.
  • Recognize requests that fall outside documented procedures or close precedent and escalate policy-sensitive, non-standard, or higher-risk matters for guidance.

Operational and Team Support

  • Assist with updates to procedures, job aids, knowledge articles, and training materials as processes change.
  • Participate in assigned process reviews, reporting, testing, data cleanup, system-change, and continuous-improvement activities.
  • Support senior analysts and team members with assigned Customer Data activities and related work that aligns with established team responsibilities.
  • Build working knowledge of EPRI customers, systems, data practices, intellectual-property access considerations, export-control awareness, and related business processes.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • One to five years of work experience in data management, analysis, reporting, customer service, business operations, or a related area.
  • Experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is $56,000 USD to $66,000 USD annually.

This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
