The Analyst plays a pivotal role in the FP&A function, delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and business insights to support strategic decision-making. This role is responsible for preparing accurate forecasts and budgets, performing detailed variance analysis, and maintaining robust management reporting. Acting as a key contributor within the FP&A team, the Senior Analyst collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and mentors junior team members—ensuring operational excellence and value creation for the business. What are we looking for? Education- Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred. MBA/CA/CMA is an advantage but not mandatory. Skills, Competencies, Experience Required • 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, management reporting, or commercial finance.

  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis fundamentals.
  • Strong Excel skills; exposure to ERP/reporting tools preferred.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and effective communication.
  • Hands-on FP&A, Commercial Finance business acumen with exposure in commercial, retail, wholesale, merchandise, CPG or product-driven environments preferred

Tools • Advanced Excel — financial modelling, large datasets, pivot analysis, complex lookups

  • SAP ECC or equivalent ERP — report extraction, cost centre mapping, GL coding (training provided)
  • EPM / CPM planning tools — TM1, SAP SAC, Anaplan, OneStream or equivalent preferred
  • Reporting and visualisation — Power BI, Tableau, Palantir or equivalent BI platforms preferred
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or data warehouse reporting layers preferred

Team Management Work collaboratively with peers; support team objectives and participate in knowledge sharing. Actional Insight, Client Facing, Financial Analysis, Financial Management Reporting, Microsoft Excel Data Analysis Roles and Responsibilities: FP&A Process Delivery -

  • Prepare data packs, templates, and standard reports accurately and on time.
  • Support forecast and budget cycles by compiling inputs and validating data.
  • Maintain tracker hygiene, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform basic variance analysis and investigate data movements.
  • Escalate issues proactively and support root cause analysis.
  • Follow standard processes, controls, and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain KPI trackers and support periodic performance reviews.
  • Highlight emerging risks and opportunities to the FP&A ASP and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of management information.

Business Partnering and Collaboration • Work effectively with peers, service delivery teams, and stakeholders.

  • Support process improvement ideas and automation opportunities.

Continuous Improvement and Controls • Follow standard processes, controls, and documentation requirements.
