About The Role
DXC Technology is seeking a Zscaler Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) willing to go through a Security Clearance with the Canadian government, hence the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil,
This role will support a highly secure cloud and network infrastructure environment, focusing on reliability, automation, observability, and operational excellence for mission-critical services.
The successful candidate MUST reside in the Ottawa area as work is exclusively onsite at a client location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Implement and support monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
- Assist in the implementation and support of Zero Trust and secure access technologies, including Zscaler solutions.
- Contribute to capacity planning, incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in system performance reviews and reliability engineering activities.
- Other duties may also be assigned.
Who You Are
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
- This role requires Security Clearance with the Canadian government, hence the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and switching.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Terragrunt, or Ansible.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing automation using Python, Go, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and Zscaler technologies is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Work is performed onsite at a client location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
