Requirements & Delivery Manager – SAP FI

About the role Our client is seeking an experienced Requirements & Delivery Manager with an SAP FI focus to help advance and optimize accounting processes within a large-scale finance platform. The work centers on strengthening core accounting capabilities, covering integration with internal and external service providers, technical client interfaces, invoicing, status communication, dunning and debt collection, and the ongoing evolution of SAP FI-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze business and technical requirements from a range of stakeholder groups, and turn them into clear, structured requirements that are ready for implementation
  • Define and maintain epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications, with emphasis on scalability and reusability
  • Evaluate requirements for business value, relevance and feasibility, and support the prioritization of the backlog
  • Develop solution proposals for existing processes and new features
  • Prepare decision material, requirements concepts and delivery roadmaps
  • Coordinate interface-related topics across the various stakeholders
  • Quality-assure deliverables for consistency, completeness and feasibility, including aspects of time, effort and cost
  • Document decisions, recommendations and open points so they can be handed over smoothly into established delivery processes

Required skills and experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in technical product development, requirements engineering, business analysis or delivery management, preferably within an SAP FI environment
  • Proven experience structuring requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
  • Good technical understanding, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, implementation-ready requirements
  • Fluent English (C1 level)

Meriting experience

  • Background in accounts receivable, accounting processes and/or receivables management
  • German language skills (a strong advantage)
