Full description

Amazon Lists helps hundreds of millions of customers organize and share the things they love, from Wish Lists and gift registries to idea boards and collections. We're entering a transformative new chapter, applying state-of-the-art AI to reimagine how customers save, discover, and rediscover the things that inspire them. Our systems reach every Amazon surface, from Search and the Homepage to the Detail Page and Alexa for Shopping / Rufus.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Technical to lead a new 0 to 1 initiative at the intersection of AI innovation and customer-facing product. Our vision is to let customers save products friction-free from anywhere, inside or outside Amazon, and to have generative AI do the rest: organizing their saves, surfacing what matters, and helping them rediscover the things they love at the right moment.

You'll lead this high-visibility initiative, defining what an AI-first Lists experience looks like and turning customer signals into intelligent, generative experiences across Amazon's most trafficked surfaces. This is a high-ambiguity, high-impact role that rewards creative product thinking, deep technical fluency in AI and machine learning, and the ability to earn trust and drive consensus across teams without direct authority. Beyond your own workstream, you'll help shape the multi-year, AI-native vision for Lists, partnering with engineering, applied science, UX, and PM leaders to drive an ambitious roadmap and bringing the technical depth to unblock teams and move fast.

Key job responsibilities You will define and champion a bold product vision for a high visibility initiative within Amazon Lists, grounded in deep customer understanding and market insight. You'll identify and drive opportunities to apply Gen AI to create differentiated, intelligent customer experiences. You'll partner with engineering and UX teams to evaluate technical feasibility, define architecture trade-offs, and ensure scalable, high-quality delivery. You'll align stakeholders across Amazon (retail, personalization, Alexa, etc.) without direct authority; earn trust and drive consensus at VP+ levels. You'll conduct deep customer research, define success metrics, and relentlessly prioritize based on customer impact. You'll raise the bar on product thinking; mentor senior PMs and contribute to a culture of invention and high standards.

Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
