Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.
Position Overview
Pantheon Data is seeking a Data Analyst to support federal programs by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive mission-critical decisions. This role requires expertise in advanced analytics, data governance, and federal compliance standards. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interface with government stakeholders, and ensure data integrity across all program activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of data analytics strategies aligned with federal program objectives.
- Perform statistical modeling, trend analysis, forecasting, and data mining using large, complex datasets.
- Build dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards, including FISMA, NIST, and agency-specific requirements.
- Present findings to government clients, support decision-making, and translate analytical results into operational recommendations.
- Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading processes; implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
- Mentor junior analysts, manage analytics workstreams, and contribute to project planning and documentation.
- Develop automated workflows using Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain strict adherence to federal cybersecurity and privacy requirements, including handling of sensitive but unclassified (SBU) or controlled unclassified information (CUI).
Required Skills and Experience
- 8 years of analytics experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science roles.
- Experience with federal contracting, including working within FAR-regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and federal data security standards.
- Dashboard development expertise using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Expertise using SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP.
- Knowledge of federal financial or operational systems (e.g., DoD, DHS, HHS, VA).
- Experience with Agile methodologies in a federal environment.
- Machine learning exposure for predictive analytics or anomaly detection.
Education
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Clearance Requirements
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. Ability to obtain Public Trust prior to hire and maintain during employment is required.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
