EDUCATION

  • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Requires some related and relevant experience
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred
  • Must be hands on with project documentations on planning, test approach, RAID log and proactive in closing open items.
  • Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems.
  • Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals

  • Ability to execute and troubleshoot problems
  • Ability to independently manage small projects preferred
  • Basic understanding of business and technology
  • Ability to ensure reporting quality
  • Planning and process orientation
  • Ability to track and update Project Plans
  • Familiar with Project management methodologies
  • Familiar with Project Business Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • SharePoint Project Site, VISIO
  • Familiar with Project documentation including planning, execution, testing, risks and issues management and decisions

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take lead responsibility on small projects
  • Attend Project meetings and provide feedback and input
  • Support planning at the various organizational levels to ensure projects are on track/resourced
  • Support project / program governance and communication with stakeholders
  • Ensure timetable and deliverable schedules are understood and communicated
  • Proactively manage dependencies, coordinate across teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Facilitate executive level updates on strategy, budget, project delivery, controls, risks, etc.
  • Support required reporting for business and technology management review sessions
  • Ensure project transparency through reporting and updates
  • Facilitate the documentation of business requirements and testing
  • Manage project changes
