Full description

iLogos Game Studios provides solutions for mobile game developers no matter how challenging the project or task is. We’ve been around since 2006 and in that time frame, we have successfully completed 400+ projects and have become a partner of choice for EA, Sony, Disney, Rovio, Ubisoft, and many other companies.

Our #ilogos_team unites professionals that love, live and breathe games we dare say. This is a place where you’ll find freedom of action and where bureaucracy and micromanagement are unheard of. Now we are growing rapidly and looking for professionals to join the team.

  • Make your personal contribution to the games millions of people are playing;
  • Develop yourself professionally in an atmosphere of trust and support;
  • Work remotely from anywhere in the world on your own schedule;
  • Get your support from teammates and the company.

About the role

We build proprietary slot-math software: a math engine, an internal platform for game calibration and release (RTP, simulations, recipe-based configuration), and delivery pipelines that ship games across multiple gaming platforms and RGS partners. Our games go through independent certification (RNG and full game certification).

We're looking for a QA engineer to own end-to-end quality across the whole stack — from the correctness of the math and RNG, to the platform's reliability, to certification-readiness of release packages, to the baseline security of our servers. This is not a "run the test cases" role. You'll be the quality owner for the product, someone who can think like a mathematician, like an attacker, and like an auditor at the same time.

What we expect (must-have)

  • 3+ years in QA, withmandatory hands-on experience in iGaming / gambling(game math, casino, sportsbook, or RGS/provider side).
  • Strong math and statistics foundation: probability, expected value, variance, confidence intervals, and a working grasp of RTP / hit rate / volatility — able to tell a real math bug from statistical noise.
  • Confident API testing (REST, JSON) and the ability to read and write automated tests.
  • Automation skills in at least one of Python / C# / JavaScript — for simulation scripts, report parsing, and validation tooling.
  • Baseline cyber security at a solid intermediate level: understanding of OWASP Top 10; hands-on with tools such as Burp Suite / OWASP ZAP / nmap / Postman; able to inspect traffic and find common web and API vulnerabilities.
  • Comfortable with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • AI-first mindset is required.We expect active use of AI tools (LLM assistants, coding copilots, etc.) to generate test cases, analyze reports, write scripts, parse specifications, and accelerate security testing. We want someone who multiplies themselves with AI — not someone wary of it.

Nice to have:

  • Experience taking games through certification from the provider side.
  • Understanding of RNG certification (cryptographic RNG, statistical test suites — NIST / Diehard / TestU01).
  • Familiarity with slot mechanics (paylines, ways, cluster, free spins, buy-bonus).
  • Security certifications (OSCP, eJPT, CEH) or practical bug bounty / pentest experience.
  • Load testing and experience handling large simulation datasets.
  • English for reading and correspondence with labs and partners.

What you'll do:

Math & engine

  • Verify math correctness: RTP (raw vs weighted), feature frequencies (weighted player frequency, not raw counts), variance, win cap, payout distributions, unique payouts.
  • Design and validate large-scale simulations (millions to billions of spins), confirm convergence across multiple seeds, and catch seed noise in RTP estimates.
  • Verify the engine against analytical "oracles" — independent clean-room recomputation of the math, separate from the code.
  • Check determinism and bit-identical reproducibility of configurations, correctness of event/round state, and edge-case behavior (meters, buy-bonus/super features, no-zero books).
  • Own regression testing when shared mechanics or calibrations change.

Platform & delivery

  • Functional and API testing of the internal platform (run execution, reports, quick runs, package publishing, recipe configuration, provenance/versions/hashes).
  • Validate delivery to platforms: integrity of math/bundle hashes, engine-version compatibility with host requirements, correct money formulas and output adapters per platform.
  • End-to-end checks: recipe → calibration → package → server → game front end (including catching desyncs such as "win without win lines").
  • Test CI/CD releases and auto-deploy pipelines.

Certification

  • Maintain a QA tracker against certification-lab requirements; prepare the evidence base for RNG and game certification.
  • Verify compliance: cryptographic-grade RNG, RTP corridors and payout-uniqueness rules per operator, and other regulatory constraints.
  • Run cheat-tooling and statistical test batteries (uniformity, chi-square, serial tests) and large-scale simulations under certification requirements.
  • Keep external and internal documentation current (deliverables for labs and partners).

Security (baseline pentesting)

  • Surface-level pentesting of our servers and APIs: OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization flaws, IDOR, injections, insecure defaults, leakage in logs and endpoints.
  • Probe the perimeter of game servers, internal portals, CI/CD, and secrets management (leaked keys, exposed access).
  • Validate package integrity and pass-through validation tokens; guard against tampering with math or bundles.
  • Produce prioritized findings reports with clear remediation guidance.
