What You’ll Do 

  • Manage environmental projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance. 
  • Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs). 
  • Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling. 
  • Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals. 
  • Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff. 
  • Support business development and proposal efforts.
  • Regulatory-facing expertise and leadership (informed by Ohio EPA supervisory experience)
  • Deep experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks
  • Phase II ESA leadership, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven project work
  • Mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight elements layered into responsibilities

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field 
  • 7+ years of environmental consulting experience 
  • 2+ years of project management experience 
  • Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Ohio VAP, and BUSTR 
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills 
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred 
  • Work performed in indoor and outdoor environments, including uneven terrain
  • Lifting/carrying requirements based on role demands
  • Certain projects or client sites may require post-offer drug screening, background screening, or other compliance requirements as a condition of site access or project participation.

Salary Range:

The minimum salary for this position is $100,000 (negotiable based on experience and qualifications). Final offer depends on location, skills, and certifications.
