We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Honeywell Building Automation team in our Perth’s office. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of the assigned project. This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project delivery or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, work, schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external).
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct day to day operations of the projects team, internal and external clients and sub-contractors
- Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to required quality, schedule, and budget
- Manage contractual requirements to ensure minimised exposure and control timely responses and escalation
- Manage effective communications with stakeholders and develop trust with the customers and key stakeholders
- Lead all contractual claims and manage together with the Contract Manager/Quantity Surveyor
- Deliver to financial objectives, including forecasting and control billing cost by ensuring project team maintains estimated actual cost at completion
- Implement risk management programs and ensure proactive risk mitigation strategies are delivered and communicated
- Manage subcontractors and supply requirements
- Ensure adherence to the highest standards of Health and Safety requirements by Honeywell and our clients
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- Relevant trade qualifications with significant experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management preferred
- Over 10 years proven experience in project management including financial management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning
- Experience in BMS or Security are highly preferred
- Capacity to deliver against multiple objectives with commercial/contractual and financial acumen
- Proven track record to work on conflict resolution
- Ability to identify technical solutions to customer needs
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure
- A strong commitment to safety and safe working environment
- Holds NV1 clearance (highly advantageous) or ability to acquire NV1 clearance
