Job Description

Summer 2027 Internship

Duration: Monday, May 17th- August 20th, 2027

Location: Austin, TX

Under close supervision, responsible for supporting project planning and execution within defined parameters on smaller or less complex projects. The Project Manager I follows established processes while developing foundational project management skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in budget monitoring and cost tracking.
  • Communicate project status updates to immediate manager and project team.
  • Follow company policies and established project management methodologies.
  • Help coordinate resource assignments and monitor utilization.
  • Identify and report potential risks for review by senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including project logs and records.
  • Support schedule management by tracking milestones and updating schedules.
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and terminology.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure)

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • No experience necessary. Professional project management experience, internship, or co-op experience desirable
