 About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to own and drive all aspects of our banking product portfolio. This is a high-impact, highly visible role at the intersection of strategy, technology, and customer experience. You will work with the Executive team to set the vision, define the roadmap, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver banking solutions that delight customers, outpace competitors, and generate sustainable business growth. This is not a passive role. You will be expected to think like an owner, move with urgency, and balance long-term strategic vision with near-term execution. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, know how to navigate complexity, and bring clarity to ambiguity. If you are energized by solving real financial problems for real people — and have the track record to prove it — this role was made for you.  What You’ll Own

Competitive Intelligence & Market Positioning• Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, including traditional banks, credit unions, neobanks, PFM(s) and fintech disruptors.

  • Conduct in-depth competitive analyses and translate findings into actionable product strategy and differentiation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain compelling positioning frameworks that clearly articulate our value proposition to customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Identify market gaps and emerging trends to influence product investment decisions.

Product Strategy & Roadmap• Own the end-to-end banking product roadmap — from ideation through launch and iteration.

  • Assist with defining and prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, business goals, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely, high-quality product delivery.
  • Develop & execute strategy for utilizing rewards and perks to entice sales, strengthen loyalty and promote the use of our card programs.
  • Establish clear OKRs and KPIs for each product area and hold teams accountable to outcomes.

Pricing & Revenue Strategy• Design and manage competitive, customer-friendly pricing models for banking products including deposit accounts, checking accounts, cards, payment services and other products as may be needed.

  • Develop and maintain pricing models of all products.
  • Model revenue impact of pricing changes and new product structures.
  • Evaluate fee structures, interest rates, and incentives (perks) to optimize customer acquisition, loyalty and profitability.
  • Understand and optimize strategic product design impacts on unit P&L.

User Experience & Customer Journey• Champion the voice of the customer at every stage of the product lifecycle.

  • Partner with UX/Design to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital banking experiences across web and mobile.
  • Drive usability testing, customer research, and journey mapping to surface friction points and prioritize improvements.
  • Ensure our banking products meet or exceed the expectations of today’s digitally savvy consumers.

Partner & Vendor Identification• Identify and evaluate relationships with key fintech partners, core processors, payment networks, and technology vendors.

  • Assist with vendor selection processes including RFP/RFI, due diligence, contract negotiation, and ongoing performance management.
  • Assist with building a strategic partner ecosystem that accelerates product capabilities and reduces time-to-market.
  • Stay current on emerging technology providers and partnership models relevant to digital banking.

Regulatory & Compliance Awareness• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure all banking products adhere to applicable regulations (CFPB, FDIC, BSA/AML, TILA, etc.).

  • Proactively anticipate regulatory changes and incorporate compliance requirements into the product roadmap.
  • Consider Info Security, Compliance and Risk Management as a baseline of all product decisions.

 What We’re Looking For

Required• 5+ years of product management experience in banking, financial services, or fintech, with demonstrated ownership of banking-specific products.

  • Deep understanding of banking products including, but not limited to, deposit accounts, lending, payments, debit/credit cards, and digital banking platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps in a regulated industry.
  • Experience conducting competitive analysis and translating insights into clear product decisions and positioning.
  • Strong understanding of pricing models, revenue mechanics, and the financial drivers of banking products.
  • Ability to partner with and influence cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, risk, operations and marketing.
  • Demonstrated vendor and partner management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executive leadership and external partners.
  • Self-starter mentality — comfortable operating in ambiguity, setting direction, and driving results without being told what to do.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities without dropping the ball.

Preferred• Experience at a digital bank, neobank, or innovative fintech company.

  • Familiarity with core banking platforms (e.g., Galileo, FIS, Fiserv, Jack Henry) and modern fintechs (Plaid, Stripe, Sardine, Atomic, etc.).
  • Background in consumer-facing digital product management with measurable impact on engagement or conversion.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing retail banking (CFPB guidelines, OFAC, Reg E, Reg Z, BSA/AML, SOC2).
