Position Summary
The Senior Cloud Architect serves as the technical architecture lead responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving secure, scalable, resilient cloud platform solutions that enable enterprise applications, shared platform services, and enterprise data capabilities. Working within established enterprise architecture principles and cloud strategy, this role translates architectural direction into practical implementation patterns, engineering standards, reference architectures, and reusable platform capabilities.
The Senior Cloud Architect partners closely with Enterprise Architecture, Domain Architecture, Platform Engineering, Platform Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Security, Delivery teams, and technology stakeholders to modernize cloud platforms, improve operational maturity, establish automation, and ensure consistent implementation of cloud engineering standards across the enterprise.
Unlike strategic architecture leadership roles, this position focuses on operationalizing enterprise architecture through hands-on technical leadership, engineering collaboration, platform modernization, and implementation guidance while continuously improving reliability, scalability, security, automation, and operational excellence across assigned cloud platform domains.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a targeted salary range of $124,000 to $180,000 annually.
