Position Summary
Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Financial Analyst to support federal budget formulation/execution, financial tracking, procurement/payment activities, reconciliations, and management reporting for a high-visibility federal organization.
Work Arrangement
The position is expected to be onsite in Southwest Washington, DC for the first two months of performance. Thereafter, the anticipated schedule is at least two onsite days per week with up to three telework days, subject to Government direction. USCP may require up to five onsite days per week. The selected candidate must be able to complete required criminal-history, fingerprinting, and badging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Support budget preparation, formulation, execution and closeout activities.
- Prepare and track procurement requests, payments and related financial documentation.
- Perform reconciliations and validate invoices and financial transactions.
- Develop financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and management-ready status information.
- Track funding, spending and burn trends and identify potential variances or issues.
- Coordinate with program, financial, and acquisition stakeholders to resolve financial management actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience with reconciliations, financial analysis, and customer-facing reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Federal financial-management certification.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, statistical/analytical tools, or advanced Excel.
- Experience supporting federal procurement and invoice-validation processes.
Employment Note
This position is contingent upon contract award and final Government approval/requirements. Compensation within the posted range will depend on relevant experience, education, certifications, and contractual considerations.
