Highlights:
Summary: The Network Engineer shall be responsible to design, install, and maintenance of network systems. This role requires independent handling of projects, deeper technical expertise, and the ability to solve more complex network issues. The position will play a critical role to improve network efficiency and ensure high levels of network performance and security. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in a field of study relevant to the current position is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar or related role required; however, candidates with an equivalent combination of experience, education, certification, and demonstrated proficiency in a similar or related role will also be considered.
Licensure/Certification: One or more current, industry standard certifications preferred (CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network +, CCNA, CCNP, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of network architecture and engineering practices.
- Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and managing network equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good leadership abilities and effective communication skills.
- Experience with network security practices and network optimization techniques.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technologies and business needs.
