General Description

Analyzes business needs, processes, and technology requirements to support the evaluation, design, and implementation of effective business and system solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Elicit, gather, review, and analyze business and system requirements to identify problems, define needs, and recommend technology-enabled solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison among business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to obtain, analyze, communicate, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements for applications and process improvements.
  • Use proven tools, methods, and analysis techniques to document current and future state processes, identify gaps, assess impacts, and support solution recommendations for operational and technology changes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and working meetings to define scope, prioritize requirements, and evaluate solution alternatives.
  • Facilitate the definition and evaluation of business and technology solutions, including feasibility, cost, timeline, risks, dependencies, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare clear business and functional requirements documentation, process flows, use cases, and other analysis artifacts to support solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Support testing, user acceptance validation, implementation activities, and stakeholder communications to ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver expected outcomes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This Job has no supervisory responsibilities but in special circumstances may lead the work of others.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration or related field.

Experience

At least two (2) years of experience in business analysis, data management requirements gathering, process improvement, systems implementation, solution evaluation, testing, and/or process automation initiatives.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis, solution evaluation, and technology implementation concepts.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, developers, technical teams, vendors, and all levels of management, including executive leadership.
  • Ability to analyze complex business and technical information and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to prepare clear documentation, present findings, and communicate requirements in a concise and effective manner.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven, agile, and able to work independently and on multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Strong group presentation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools and business analysis documentation tools such as Excel, , Forms, and PowerPoint. Visio is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and query tools such as SQL is preferred; experience with reporting or analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
