About the Role We are looking for a Salesforce Product Manager to own the Sales Cloud platform for an environmental services client. You will be the bridge between the sales organization and the Salesforce platform. You'll work directly with salespeople and sales leadership to understand how they sell, then turn that into platform priorities, requirements, and delivered capabilities. You'll also partner with the marketing team, which owns Marketing Cloud, to keep sales and marketing processes aligned. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can speak fluently with both sales and technology teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the Salesforce Sales Cloud product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing work based on sales team needs and business impact
- Partner directly with salespeople and sales leadership to understand the sales process from lead to opportunity to close, and translate it into Salesforce requirements
- Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Sales Cloud enhancements, and work with technical teams through delivery
- Collaborate with the marketing team on Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud touchpoints such as lead handoff, campaign attribution, and data flow between platforms
- Track and report status on initiatives with fixed milestones, keeping stakeholders informed and flagging risks early
- Drive adoption of new Sales Cloud capabilities with the sales team
Experience and Skills
- 10-12+ years of experience in technology roles, with significant time in Salesforce product management, product ownership, or a similar role
- Strong, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud (Service Cloud-only experience will not be considered a match)
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes and fluency in sales terminology, including leads, opportunities, pipeline, forecasting, and close
- Proven ability to work directly with sales teams and translate business needs into platform requirements
- Experience reporting status and managing delivery against fixed milestones
- Ability to work on-site in King of Prussia, PA, at least 3 days per week
- Marketing Cloud experience is a plus
