The Role  We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst – Workforce Planning to join Crown’s newly created Centre of Excellence. This role plays a key part in shaping the future state of workforce planning, scheduling and day of operations processes, ensuring they are scalable, standardised, compliant and future ready.

The Senior Business Analyst will analyse and document current and future-state processes, identify inefficiencies, define business requirements and help drive the delivery of transformation initiatives across Workforce Planning. Working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams, this role will ensure solutions are well designed, practical and clearly aligned with business outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading business analysis activities across end-to-end transformation initiatives, including current state assessment, requirements gathering, process mapping and future state design.
  • Driving process improvement and simplification, identifying gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities across workforce planning, scheduling, day of operations and payroll/T&A processes.
  • Translating complex business problems into clear options and recommendations, assessing impacts, dependencies, risks and trade-offs to support informed decision making with a key focus on standardisation across all Crown properties, automation, cost optimisation and compliance.
  • Partnering across the Group with key stakeholders to ensure solutions balance operational requirements, employee experience, compliance and business outcomes.
  • Engaging and facilitating structured workshops with business stakeholders to validate assumptions, refine requirements and ensure shared understanding of outcomes and priorities.
  • Partnering with digital and delivery squads to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, support solution validation and enable successful implementation and adoption.
  • Producing and maintaining high-quality documentation, including process maps, decision logs, Jira boards, Confluence spaces and artefacts that support governance and repeatable ways of working.

About You  You are an analytical, collaborative and outcome-focused Senior Business Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems and bringing clarity to transformation initiatives. You excel at breaking down complex processes, facilitating stakeholder discussions and translating analysis into practical, actionable outcomes. You are resilient and adaptable, comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities and a fast-paced environment undergoing significant change.

You bring a blend of curiosity, structure and commercial thinking, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders and navigate differing perspectives to achieve the right business outcome. You can adapt your approach across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments and are passionate about simplicity, standardisation and building better end-to-end processes.

  You will also bring:

  • Strong experience in business analysis, process mapping, process engineering or process optimisation within complex environments.

  • Experience working with workforce planning, scheduling, payroll, time & attendance and/or enterprise systems.
  • Experience delivering complex transformation and large-scale change initiatives.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication across multiple business functions and levels of seniority.
