Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Regional IT Cybersecurity Coordinator to join our EMEA IT team. In this role, you will act as a strategic bridge between global cybersecurity standards and regional operations, ensuring effective governance, risk management, and security practices across all Tires locations in the region. You will collaborate closely with local IT teams, central competence centers, and business stakeholders to maintain a strong and resilient cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Coordination: Lead and coordinate regional cybersecurity activities and projects, ensuring alignment with global strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
- Governance & Compliance: Support the implementation and monitoring of cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements; contribute to audits and ensure remediation of findings.
- IT Emergency Management: Act as Regional IT Emergency Lead, maintaining and testing emergency processes, disaster recovery plans, and related documentation.
- Risk & Vulnerability Management: Track and support vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity risk management activities; contribute to incident response coordination.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Facilitate alignment between global and local cybersecurity teams, translating requirements into actionable regional solutions and ensuring business integration.
- Awareness & Training: Support execution of cybersecurity awareness programs and training initiatives across the region.
- Reporting & Transparency: Contribute to cybersecurity reporting (KPIs, risk, compliance) and track implementation progress of initiatives; provide insights for continuous improvement and cost transparency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Information Technology or related field; cybersecurity certifications preferred.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in cybersecurity roles
- Strong background in cybersecurity processes, IT infrastructure, and risk management
- Experience in multinational environments and willingness to travel internationally
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and risk management
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and security standards
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical topics into business language
- Experience with project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Business fluent English
Leadership
- Ability to perform in a functional leadership role within a matrix organization
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across regional and global teams
