What is Flagstone?
Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.
Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.
A feel for our culture:
To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth.
That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.
We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.
Does this sound like you? Flagstone is entering a pivotal phase for its website – a full redesign and relaunch, running alongside a parallel Brand refresh. We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead this as a strategic programme of work, and to act as squad lead for our cross-functional Website squad (product, UX, data, engineering, and digital marketing).
This is not a day-to-day execution role. You'll set direction, sequence the programme, and coordinate contributors across Product, Marketing, Growth/Creative, Data, and Tech – while giving your squad the space to execute against a clear plan. You'll have done this before, and you'll need minimal supervision on process: you're trusted to run the show, escalating only what genuinely needs senior leadership's input rather than day-to-day noise.
What you’ll do: Own the strategy and roadmap for the website redesign and relaunch, working hand-in-hand with the Brand team so the two workstreams land as one coherent outcome
- Act as squad lead for the Website squad – setting priorities, unblocking the team, and holding the cross-functional group (product, UX, data, engineering, digital marketing) to a shared plan
- Design and run the end-to-end programme of work: sequencing dependencies across product, marketing, creative, data, and engineering, and keeping it on track without needing to escalate routine issues upward
- Define the strategic direction for site structure, customer journeys, and conversion approach, translating business goals into a clear plan the squad can execute against
- Represent the website programme to senior stakeholders – bringing clarity and options, not problems, to conversations with the Senior Leadership Team
- Set the standards and guardrails for how experimentation, CRO, and iterative improvement will work post-relaunch, handing over a structured, sustainable operating model
- Manage risk and trade-offs across the programme – commercial, technical, brand, and customer experience – and make the calls needed to keep momentum
- Build strong working relationships with Brand, Marketing, UX, Engineering, and third-party partners/agencies, ensuring the programme benefits from – rather than competes with – parallel initiatives
What you’ll bring: Proven experience leading a website redesign or relaunch from strategy through to delivery, ideally in a scale-up or fast-moving environment
- Experience operating as a squad or team lead across a genuinely cross-functional group (product, UX, data, engineering, marketing)
- A track record of running complex, multi-stream programmes of work with minimal oversight – comfortable owning ambiguity and making decisions
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to and managing expectations of senior leadership
- A strategic mindset paired with enough tactical fluency to know when to step in and when to trust your squad
- Experience with conversion rate optimisation, experimentation, and website analytics, and the judgement to know how much of this to own directly versus delegate
- Strong data analytics skills, with hands-on experience using product analytics tools (ideally Heap or similar) to inform decisions and track programme impact
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and working with third-party agencies and/or engineering teams to deliver change
- Strong written and verbal communication – you can turn a strategic vision into a plan others can execute against
Nice to haves
- Experience running a redesign alongside a parallel brand or rebrand workstream
- Background in financial services or fintech, particularly regulated environments
- Familiarity with agile ways of working and squad-based delivery models
- Experience with tools such as VWO, Umbraco, or similar CMS/experimentation platforms
