The Role: The Engineering Manager is responsible for guaranteeing customer satisfaction by ensuring coverage and support engineering requirements in FAC operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and developing team members. This position will report to the Vice President & General Manager - MRG This role is located on-site at MRG Foxborough, MA. Key Responsibilities: Oversees process sheet engineering department. Manages incoming quote requests and revisions. Prepares and reviews quotes. Collaborates with purchasing to establish and maintain component prices for harness quoting purposes. Collaborates with manufacturing engineering and production to resolve questions/concerns. Collaborate with customer’s buyers and engineers to resolve questions/concerns. Collaborates with component vendors to collect technical information. Oversees engineering’s component database. Oversees engineering’s master cross reference file. Assures that customer prints, specification, component drawings, etc. are properly received and logged. Collaborates with quality department to resolve manufacturing issues. Oversees CAD department. Oversees and collaborates with IT on engineering-related software. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar education required. Experience in harness fabrication process. Assigns and prioritizes work for the process sheet engineering department. Prepares and reviews quotes. Coordinate problem resolution status of the manufacturing issues. Maintenance and control to customer corrective action. Communication skills with customer, managers and high level executive. Communication skills with operations staff at a global level Negotiation, leadership and teamwork skills. Leadership Profile: Demonstrates the ability to lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering engagement and accountability. Provides clear direction, feedback, and performance expectations, including goal setting and ongoing coaching. Strong people leader with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
