The Senior HR Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate HR team, partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting. This role supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis, budget management, leadership reporting, and oversight of Generac's people-planning systems.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Corporate HR budget, partnering with leaders on planning, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Provide budget, forecast, and project analysis to support business objectives.
  • Support profitability initiatives through financial analysis and reporting.
  • Track budgets, prepare ad hoc reports, and provide ongoing financial insights.
  • Partner with Business Group leaders to analyze variances and forecast performance.
  • Support HR initiatives and maintain people-planning models, including OneStream.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • Work Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or financial analysis.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
  • Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Knowledge of month-end accruals and financial reporting processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Preferred Job Requirements:

Work Experience:

  • Experience managing HR or corporate budgets.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience working for a publicly traded company.
  • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial compliance principles.
