SUMMARY OF ROLE

Project Manager is responsible for handling company's ongoing projects. She/he will work closely with project team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope of work allocated, completing within the time, budget and cash targets, whilst optimizing the margin for the company. She/he is also responsible for:

  • initiate a project: develop a Project Execution Strategy, ensuring resource availability and allocation; develop a detail overall project schedule (plan), updating it to reflect progress and optimize work and resolve problems;
  • use appropriate metrics (including financial) to track project performances;
  • coordinate all activities for the allocated scope including engineering, procurement & logistics, erection and commissioning;
  • manage claims and change order to/from customers and sub-suppliers during project execution;
  • manage the relationship / communication with the client and all stakeholders
  • management of risks and opportunities by the implementation of appropriate action plans with the aim to minimize project risks and improving the project margin;
  • create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to the company procedure & processes
  • report and escalate to management as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

Degree in Engineering and/or Business Management

High school diploma

At least 4 years of work experience

Specific knowledge and skills:

As a project manager, it is requested to follow a standard process, as defined by the Project management Institute (refer to table 1). Specifically, Project Manager shall have:

  • strong planning, organizing, and priority setting skills;
  • strong in building relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors;
  • ability to relate to client's management, senior & top management and staff;
  • excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
  • ability to understand ERP implementation;
  • proven working experience as a project manager in the industrial sector;
  • Project Management Certification (PMI / IPMA) is a plus.

Objectives and Targets are defined on a yearly basis and appraised in the yearly Performance

Measurements:

  • Planning & Scheduling;
  • Project Monitoring & cost control
  • Contract & Risk Management

Range: 45.000-50.000€
