At Sener, we deliver complex engineering and infrastructure projects across the region and seeking experienced Project Managers with a minimum of 15 years of overall engineering experience and a strong design background in Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) and water transmission/distribution networks. Ideal candidates will have started their careers in hands-on design engineering and progressed into project and/or design management, with the ability to lead projects, multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage projects from initiation through design and delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and project objectives are achieved.

2. Manage multidisciplinary project teams, resources, deliverables, and technical interfaces.

3. Oversee design development and provide technical direction based on a strong background in STP and water transmission/distribution network design.

4. Manage project programs, budgets, risks, changes, resources, and contractual deliverables.

5. Lead coordination with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

6. Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

7. Ensure project and technical deliverables comply with contractual requirements, applicable standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.

8. Lead project meetings, design reviews, progress reporting, and key project decisions.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum 15 years of overall engineering experience.

2. Strong design engineering background in water and wastewater infrastructure.

3. Proven experience in STP and water transmission/distribution network projects.

4. Career progression from hands-on design engineering into project and/or design management.

5. Proven project management experience covering scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, changes, and delivery.

6. Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex project interfaces.

7. Strong client and stakeholder management experience.

8. Experience working within an engineering consultancy environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. UAE or GCC water and wastewater infrastructure experience.

2. Experience managing major and complex STP projects.

3. Experience managing large water transmission/distribution network projects.

4. International engineering consultancy experience.

5. Knowledge of relevant regional and international water and wastewater design standards.
