About you
You’ve reached the point where you don’t just build data platforms - you shape how they should exist.
You walk into environments where things are unclear, sometimes messy, sometimes politically complex - and you bring structure, direction, and calm. Not by overcomplicating things, but by making the right things simple.
At RevoData, you operate at the intersection of deep Databricks expertise, technical leadership, and client trust.
We’d love to talk if:
You’ve led data platforms from idea to reality - more than once Not just contributing, but owning the outcome. You’ve made architectural decisions, dealt with the consequences, and improved things along the way.
Databricks is a tool you truly understand, not just use You don’t just implement pipelines - you shape how platforms are structured. From Delta Lake design decisions to Unity Catalog setup and governance, you define foundations that scale. You’re comfortable working across the platform: orchestrating with Workflows, structuring code and deployments properly, and thinking through how data flows from ingestion to consumption.
You bring structure where there isn’t any You can take a vague ambition (“we need a data platform”) and turn it into something concrete - defining approach, architecture, and first steps without needing everything handed to you.
You balance pragmatism with quality You know when to push for a better design, and when to move forward with something “good enough for now.” You don’t get stuck in theory, but you also don’t create future problems.
You raise the level of the people around you Through reviews, discussions, and the way you work, you make others better - without it feeling forced or hierarchical.
You influence decisions in the grey area between tech and business You can challenge assumptions, explain trade-offs, and guide decisions - whether you’re speaking to an engineer, a product owner, or a CTO.
You speak fluent English
