Security Clearance: Reliability or higher is required at time of application. Eligibility for secret clearance is preferred.

Summary

Administers the program's Azure DevOps environment and builds the dashboards, workflows, and planning structures that enable consistent delivery tracking. Acts as the operational backbone for the Ways of Working function, supporting teams through effective planning, reporting, process governance, and tool administration.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Azure DevOps (ADO), including project setup, team configuration, area and iteration paths, permissions, and process templates.
  • Create dashboards in Azure DevOps and/or Power BI using live ADO data.
  • Configure workflows, including custom work item types, states, rules, and automation.
  • Provide backlog and sprint planning support and guide teams on Azure DevOps best practices.
  • Establish and enforce data quality, governance, and data entry standards within ADO.
  • Develop basic automation solutions using KQL, REST APIs, or Power Automate to streamline reporting processes.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and user guidance for non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience administering Azure DevOps (ADO) environments.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reporting solutions using Azure DevOps and/or Power BI.
  • Experience configuring workflows, work item types, states, rules, and automation.
  • Knowledge of backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile delivery practices.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining data quality and governance standards.
  • Basic scripting or query-writing skills using KQL, REST APIs, or Power Automate.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear process documentation and user guides.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for executive reporting.
